#WinItWednesday Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility:
The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom who are 18 years or older, excluding employees of Cognitive Books Limited or Alzheimer's Society, their immediate families, or anyone else connected with the promotion.
2. Entry Period:
The entry period begins at 8:30am on Wednesday 15 May 2024 and ends at 5pm on Friday 17 May 2024. All times stated are UK. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
3. Entry Mechanism:
There are two prizes (books) to win, one per social media platform. To enter, participants must follow Cognitive Books and share the promotional tweet. The social media platforms and links to the relevant pages to follow are Facebook and X (formerly Twitter).
4. Entry Limitations:
There is a limit of one entry per person per social media platform. Any duplicate entries on a social media platform will be disqualified. Followers from prior to the start of the prize draw are permitted to enter, but only if they share (or retweet) the promotional message.
5. Prize Details:
The prize is a copy of the book "looking back at … The Beatles", written by Matt Singleton with illustration by Simon Reid. There is one prize for each social media platform. No cash or alternative prizes will be offered.
6. Winner Selection:
The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during the entry period. The draw will be conducted within 7 days of the closing date.
7. Winner Notification:
The winner will be notified via the relevant social media platform within 7 days of the draw date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days, a new winner will be selected.
8. Publicity:
By entering the prize draw, participants agree to participate in any promotional activity or material requested by Cognitive Books Limited, including the use of their name and image for promotional purposes.
9. Data Protection:
Personal information provided by participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the prize draw and will not be shared with third parties.
10. Compliance with Regulations:
This prize draw complies with the regulations set forth by the UK Lottery and Gaming Commission.
11. Amendments:
Cognitive Books Limited reserves the right to amend or withdraw the prize draw and these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
12. Governing Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
